Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Camera Heated Windshield Element

Removal

1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this section, refer to Safety Warnings in section 100-00 General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

   Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
   

1. Remove the interior rear view mirror.
   Refer to: Interior Rear View Mirror (501-09 Rear View Mirrors, Removal and Installation).
   

Installation

1. NOTE: Use an alcohol pad to remove the residual adhesive. If required a plastic scraper may be used.

1. Remove the protective covering from the new camera windshield defrost heater and align the camera windshield defrost heater.
   

1. NOTE: Apply even pressure to adhere the camera windshield defrost heaterr to the windshield.

1. Install the interior rear view mirror.
