Battery Monitoring Sensor

Removal

NOTICE: Do not remove or install the M8 nut (20 Nm) on the cable eyelet bolt while the battery monitor sensor is attached to the battery post as this causes damage to the sensor, connector, and possibly the battery post and case.

  1. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
  1. Torque : 20 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
