SYNC Module [APIM] to Universal Serial Bus (USB) Port Cable

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Both USB cables

1. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

   Both sides.
   

1. NOTE: RH side shown, LH side similar.

   Both sides.
   

Console USB cable

1. Remove the cable following the routing shown.
   

Instrument panel USB cable

1. Remove the glove compartment.
   Refer to: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the passenger side knee air bag.
   Refer to: Passenger Knee Airbag (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the APIM .
   Refer to: SYNC Module [APIM] (415-00C Information and Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: AM/FM/CD/SYNC/Sony Audio System, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Remove the cable following the routing shown.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
